1. Our policy
Pro Bettors Academy respects the intellectual property rights of others and expects users of any part of the site that accepts user-submitted content to do the same. It is our policy to respond to clear notices of alleged copyright infringement that comply with the Digital Millennium Copyright Act ("DMCA"), 17 U.S.C. § 512.
2. Filing a takedown notice
If you believe that material on this website infringes a copyright you own or control, you (or your authorized agent) may send a written notice to our designated contact below. To be effective, your notice must include, at minimum:
- A physical or electronic signature of the copyright owner or someone authorized to act on their behalf
- Identification of the copyrighted work you claim has been infringed
- Identification of the material you claim is infringing, and information reasonably sufficient to let us locate it on the site (a URL is best)
- Your contact information: name, mailing address, telephone number, and email address
- A statement that you have a good-faith belief that the use of the material is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law
- A statement, made under penalty of perjury, that the information in the notice is accurate and that you are the copyright owner or authorized to act on their behalf
3. Where to send a notice
Send takedown notices to support@probettorsacademy.com with the subject line "DMCA Takedown Notice." Notices that do not substantially comply with the requirements above may not receive a response.
4. Counter-notification
If material you posted was removed in response to a takedown notice and you believe it was removed in error or misidentification, you may submit a counter-notice to the same address above. To be effective, your counter-notice must include:
- Your physical or electronic signature
- Identification of the material that was removed and its location before removal
- A statement, under penalty of perjury, that you have a good-faith belief the material was removed as a result of mistake or misidentification
- Your name, address, and telephone number, and a statement that you consent to the jurisdiction of the federal court in your district (or, if outside the US, an appropriate judicial district) and will accept service of process from the person who filed the original notice
5. Repeat infringers
We may, at our discretion, remove content, warn, suspend, or terminate the account of a user who is the subject of repeated or clearly valid infringement notices.
6. This is not legal advice
This policy is provided for informational purposes and does not constitute legal advice. Misrepresenting that material is infringing, or that its removal was a mistake, can carry legal consequences for the person making that misrepresentation.
